My entire younglife team went to the lake yesterday with our more than wonderful, generous family that supports us and their two awesome kids. We spent the entire afternoon tubing, wake boarding, riding in the boat, driving and riding the jet skis, and ended the day with hamburgers, cokes, and brownies. This is how I am feeling these days. I feel so distant from the Lord because of the endless amounts of school work that must get done before finals, and then those suckers begin. The ways, thoughts, and expectations of the world tear me down daily and I feel distant and overwhelmed, I know that that these are not characteristics of the Lord and this is not how He works, they are lies.
