My entire younglife team went to the lake yesterday with our more than wonderful, generous family that supports us and their two awesome kids. This is how I am feeling these days. I feel so distant from the Lord because of the endless amounts of school work that must get done before finals, and then those suckers begin. The ways, thoughts, and expectations of the world tear me down daily and I feel distant and overwhelmed, I know that that these are not characteristics of the Lord and this is not how He works, they are lies. Yesterday was just a gift, a perfect gift. Here are some reasons why:
Multiple Awkward conversations with middle schoolers at eight o’clock in the morning.
Going to only one of my four classes of the day because the other three were cancelled.
Lunch at BCB with some of Athens finest girls.
Laughing until I cry and having an aching stomach from laughing so hard.
